Better Italian Grinder Pizza

Prep Notes

Preheat oven to 425 Degrees.

Spread Cornmeal on clean counter surface.

Oil 12 inch pizza pan (if not using a seasoned baking stone.)

Cooking Time

22-25 Min.


Medium Pizza (8 slices)


For the crust:

1 Pkg Gluten Free Pizza Crust Mix w/ included Yeast Pkg.

1 1/2 Cups Luke Warm Water

2 Large Eggs

2 Tbsp Olive Oil


1/2- 3/4 Cup Prepared Pizza Sauce

Sliced Uncured Salami (free of added nirtrates and nitrites.)

Sliced Uncured Pepperoni (ditto the above)

Sliced Sweet Mancinelli Pepperoncini's

Goat Cheese Crumbles


In large bowl combine water and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes to activate yeast. Add in oil and eggs. Add pizza crust mix and stir until well combined and forms dough ball. Cover bowl with wrap or damp dish cloth and let rise for 20 Minutes.

Place dough ball on counter that has been dusted with cornmeal. Flatten dough ball into a circle and work with hands to form pizza crust. Place crust on baking pan. Bake at 425 degrees for 7 minutes.

Remove from oven. Layer with sauce and toppings. Return to oven and bake an additional 15-18 minutes.
